I’ll admit, I was a little nervous at first — I’m a mom and not exactly an adrenaline junkie. But the staff at Northeast Snowmobile made everything so easy. They walked us through the basics and made sure I felt comfortable before we set out. The GPS routes gave me peace of mind, and my son had the time of his life. It ended up being one of our favorite winter memories — safe, fun, and totally worth it.
My girlfriend and I had a blast. We rented a machine for 4hrs. The machine was brand new and had alot more acceleration than I was expecting. The conditions were wet and muddy which personally I thought added to the fun. The staff was great as well. Everyone was nice and in a good mood. We will definitely be back to ride again.

How old does a passenger have to be?
Passengers must be at least 5 years old and tall enough to sit securely on the passenger seat with both feet flat on the floor, their back against the seat, and hands holding the handgrips.
Where can we rent a snowmobile?
We have locations in Gorham, New Hampshire, Rangeley, Maine and Fryeburg, Maine.
Do you offer group discounts?
Unfortunately we do not off any group discounts.
Do we need to arrive early?
Customers are responsible for arriving early enough to complete check-in and the required safety briefing. We are strict with start and end times, so please plan to arrive 45–60 minutes before your scheduled rental to ensure you’re ready to ride on time.
Can I trailer the snowmobile to a different location?
Yes, as long as your trailer appears safe and suitable for transport. Customers are responsible for properly loading and securing the machine, and it may only be used on approved trails.
Can I use my own helmet?
Yes, as long as it is DOT approved.
What are the trails like?
Our trails are groomed and well-marked, with a variety of terrain from forest routes to open fields and mountain views.
